I am so happy to be able to (finally!) share the outfits I shot in Paris! Of all that I wore, I must say, this is probably my very favorite. If you think about it, it’s quite simple. It’s monochromatic, and it features pieces I have had for many years, which shows you that you don’t have to buy the latest trend to be well-dressed! The coat, in fact, is vintage Fleurette, and is an original from the 50s. Hairy mohair wool was clearly the precursor of the modern “teddy coat”!
In this post, you will also see the famous hotels Plaza Athénée and George V, both of which are incredibly beautiful and worth a visit. While at the Plaza Athénée, a guest saw me in the lobby and asked whether she could take a picture, saying: “I MUST replicate this outfit!”. Once I was on the street, a couple of people asked if they could take pictures of me so, if anything, this was a VERY successful outfit! My family was a bit surprised by all the attention I was getting, particularly at the new DIOR boutique on Champs Élysées, where two customers told me how much they loved what I was wearing.
